How lucky am I to have Maggie as a friend? I met her for the first time in Lima, Peru. An opinionated firecracker from the first hello! Generous, smart, politically minded, & filled with adventurous tales. She worked with women with AIDS in Africa, she took me to see Jerry Springer, The Opera, we got robbed on the street in South America & I got to share laughter with her in India. She’s shared books, calendars and her thoughts on how America could do better over all our many years of friendship. She lived a long full life & I am better for having known her. Holly, thanks for sharing her with me. To all keep her stories alive- please know you are loved. Maggie will be greatly missed & always loved.
