The Mags we knew and remember is the cheerful, bubbly, always smiling Mags whom we were lucky enough to know since the late '80s / early '90s. When in C&L and Cathal said he was cycling (he could cycle then!) from the Northside, across the city to Crumlin, to visit a young lady, we knew Mags must be special. A few nights out (including the Garda Club) confirmed that! While I appreciate Mags always "allowing" Cathal to go on multiple boys trips to Ios / Mykonos / Santorini with the C&L 11th Floor team, what we really remember is Mag's great sense of humor, wonderfully entertaining sarcasm, compassion, friendliness and warmth. Special memories include countless nights out in Dublin, pitch 'n' putt plus beverages at Johnny Foxes, weekends in Galway (who remembers Digital??!!) and a VERY special trip to Chile. While my personal highlight from Chile was picking Mags and Cathal up at the airport and giving them 1 hour to shower / change before embarking on a day's wine tasting in distant vineyards (after a 24 hour trip!), there were many wonderful memories of your weeks in Santiago and travelling around Jimena's homeland, Chile. Heaven has received a new Angel. Here's hoping that Cathal, Aoibheann, Liam, Bronagh and Mairead can focus on your positive memories, knowing that you were blessed to have such a SPECIAL spouse / Mom. "Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all"...and Mags loved you all A LOT. May God give Mags eternal rest.
