Fiona, Eoin and extended family. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the sudden passing of your dear mother Magsi. I was privileged to have known her and enjoyed her company socially on a number of occasions in the late 90s. She was always so welcoming whenever I phoned from abroad or visited your Dad at home. May she test in peace.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Magsi. She was a wonderful person, had a heart of gold and I will miss the phone calls we had, the laughs and the long chats.

When I saw her on my last trip she was always saying how well both of her children Fiona and Eoni had done. You did her proud.

My deepest sympathies to you both, and to the Vaheys for the loss of their sister. My thoughts are with you all during this sad time.

So very saddened to learn of our Seacrest neighbour, Margaret's sudden passing. We didn't know Margaret well at all but I found her daughter's missing cat in 2014. She was very grateful and seemed to be a lovely lady. Condolences to all her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Dear Fiona, Eoiny, Magsi’s granddaughters and all the Vaheys. We are so sad to learn of Magsi’s sudden passing. She was a great friend of ours since our college days over 60 years ago. Reflecting on all the adventures we had and such great times in ‘Oakdene” and we would talk for hours on the phone. She was so proud of all her family.I would catch up on the Vahey family gatherings. She was such a kind and caring person to everyone. I will miss her terribly. May she rest in peace. Thinking of you all.

I was very sad with the sudden passing of Margaret, Margaret and I spent many years volunteering in Meals on Wheels Wednesday Dinner club and also with our social club on Wednesday nights , I will always remember Margaret for her sense of humour and kindness to others .

Many years ago Magsi gave me a piece of advice that has stayed with me since and has helped me through dark times, including this very week when I lost my incredible Dad, who in a cruel twist of fate, was reposing in the room next door to Magsi… she said simply “Enjoy the colours”… I’m so deeply sad for your loss my darling Mull, Amanda and girls, Fiona and girls and all the Vaheys, Magsi was a wonderful person and I hope that overtime this darkness will fade and you can all enjoy the colours again. My dad Brien is the youngest of the 9 siblings, Margaret(Magsi) was his 2nd eldest sister,

Magsi was always very present in the Wickow Vahey household, from as far back as I remember growing up, and being the son of the youngest sibling it always felt that my dads older siblings would often check in on myself and my sister, and we'll remember Magsie as being a very present auntie given how close Bray is to the family house.

She'll be remembered on my end for a few things, including for coming up for dinner to our house fairly often back after we finished school, she was a very warm and giving person and more often than not she would pop up with a Birthday gift which as a kid, was always welcome, and she would often just come up to the house for a cup of tea and a catch up, and I can remember going with my parents as a kid to visit the Mullan household and always felt welcomed.

She'll be missed at the family events, and popping up to the house even though I don't live at home, my dad and mum would appreciate it and let me know..

So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Mags.
My memories from a child were that Mags was always so gentle and kind. She had "Aunry Maisie's caring touch. My sympathy to the Mullans and the Vaheys.
