So sorry to hear of Sr Margaret's passing, she was such a kind and caring lady in life and to those she met, I have great memories of chats with her when I was a student in Our Lady's Secondary School. Sr Margaret may you rest in eternal peace 🕊️
Deepest sympathies on the loss of Sr. Margaret to the family, friends and the Mercy community.

I knew her from the convent, a teacher and counsellor. Margaret reinvented and evolved - the one constant was trying to help peopled- reach their fulfill potential. A counsellor and confidant to many. She was always treated. A soft and convivial nature she would greet your u with a smile and stop to chat about to you and what we need u are doing now. It’s the small things that are she biggest things so often.

She had a strong commitment to her faith and her vocation which was an evolving one.

Her passing represents the end result of an era for the town and the end of a physical presence of the order but not to the foundations laid in education, horsing and care, homes and jobs for people and of course music, culture, history- not a bad legacy by any stretch.

Rest gently Sr. Margaret as you embark on the next chapter.
