Sincere condolences to the Monaghan family on the sad loss of poor Margaret. She was a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul. May her soul rest in the loving arms of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. May God and Our Blessed Mother Mary watch over her daughter, keep her safe, and give her strength and courage.
Sincere condolences from myself and Tina. I Have fond memories of Margaret from many years ago, when I used to be in Monaghans in Clonshaugh on Wednesdays before the card school in our house in Santry. I said many prayers for her at a pilgrimage I attended last week. RIP.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more, day by day,
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
May god give you all strength, hope, and peace. To my dear cousin Barry and daughter daisy and all the hurley family so so sorry.

I'm very sorry to hear of Margarets passing. I worked beside Margaret in North Cumberland St. Local office 21 years ago, and we just had the best laugh while we worked. Margaret had a great sense of humour and she was a great storyteller and spoke of things with such wit. I'm sure her loss to her husband and daughter will be immense and I'm very sorry for your loss. May Margaret be at peace now.

I wish to express my sincere sympathies to all of Margaret’s family on your sad loss. I worked with Margaret many years ago in our early 20s in Townsend St. I lived in Fairview at the time and Margaret spent many a night in my flat after a great night out in town. I remember going to Clonshaugh and meeting her family. We went on day trips to Malahide and Portmarnock. Being a true Dub I couldn’t persuade her to come to Kerry for a weekend. Kerry was my calling and we lost touch but I often thought of the beautiful Margaret over the years . Her quiet wit and good humour made her a popular lady at work and great crack to socialise with. I still work in DSP and was sad her death notice at work. May Margaret’s beautiful and gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Condolences to our friends Barry and Daisy and to Margaret's family and friends at this very sad time. You are in our thoughts.
Mag

Over spread my waking red eyes peep
A head, in bed, depressing pillow down -
My love still deep, content, in silent sleep,
Soft hair caressing cover, blonde and brown.
I gaze until lost slumber stirs her eye
That catching mine returns my smile with touch.
Her full mouth curling upward to comply
We roll content into a mutual clutch.
So, if old vows come suddenly to nought
Should friends fall out with soul mates once professed
And ties they thought unyielding become fraught
With lies sworn then as truth at last confessed,
I’ll love my Mag till moon outburns the sun.
If she be not for me, let there be none.
Life threw you a curveball maggie as a new mum you and Barry were given the devastating news of your illness. An illness which you bore with great dignity and courage. Your only prayer through the years was that you would live long enough to see your beloved daughter Daisy grow up. The pain and suffering is now over you are with your mam and dad and brother Anto now may you all rest in peace. My sincere condolences to Barry and Daisy on your immeasurable loss and to maggie’s sisters Mary Resa and Sadie and brothers Danny Louie and Eamonn. R.I.P. Maggie stay safe

Mags my amazing friend, you are now at peace.
You endured everything you went and, were put through, with such courage, bravery and unmatchable wit.
Your joy of having Daisy as your daughter and your admiration of how wonderful she is, shone through, every time you spoke of her.
It has been a privilege and an honour to have been your friend.
Until we meet again on a high stool, I will miss you every day.
Stay safe blondie xx

Deepest sympathy to Margaret's family.May she rest in everlasting peace.
Dearest Barry & Daisy and Family,

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Margaret. Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss.

As we are not resident in Ireland I only had the privilege of meeting and chatting to Margaret on a couple of occasions. She was a warm soul, chatty and curious and really friendly. I liked her a lot.

The loss of a parent leaves a void that words cannot fill dear Daisy, may you find comfort in the arms of all those who love and care about you and in the happier memories you shared with your mam.

Barry, during this really sad time may you find comfort in the cherished moments you shared together with Margaret. Daisy needs you more than ever.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Margaret's spirit will forever shine, there is no more pain, may her dear soul rest in peace.
Sincere sympathy to all of Margaret’s family and friends . May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Margaret . May she Rest In Peace 🌷
She danced through life with rebel flair,
With Pepsi Max and windswept hair, A smoke, a grin, a sideways glance
She never missed her chance to dance

Slimbo bread in her secret stash
Hunky Doreys gone in a flash
Cream cakes stashed with sweet delight
A treat for morning, noon and night

She joked, she laughed, she held her ground
A sharper wit could not be found
“Stay safe” she’d say, her voice a thread
That stitched our hearts with what she said

So when you pop a Pepsi can
Light a smoke or share a snack
Think of Mags, her voice her grace
Still with us, in some timeless place

“Stay Safe” Mags, forever near
Now behold, two hands entwined, two bands of gold,

our once bright, fair people beneath pointed

there all to preserve what we may had deserved

– a life without strife: one man and one wife

with gathered up Mammy’s, toothbrushes, jammies,

dresses, suits, shoes, no Daddy to lose.

You struck a broad smile as you walked down the aisle

your parents, my mother, your aunt, and no other

to celebrate late by an old churchyard gate.

Our pictures were took - what a bunch, what a look.

My Mam splayed a wave to a whizzing car honking

then I paused on the wrack as you drove her back

for sausages, cake, and mugs of tea steaming.

Then you came back to me by the banks of the lee.

Your bare feet pushed sand striding Waterfoot strand

as you moved up to meet me, my new wife to greet me.

And on ancestral land, I took your soft hand

to pose on loose shingle, bound up now, not single.

You held on that day to your Balcastle spray

And we laughed and had fun under late summer sun

when I pulled you up tight, then lifted you light.

Up your Dad’s ladder farm, we climbed arm-in-arm

to gaze for a while down a stretch mile on mile

from the steep-breasted brae to the crest of Red Bay

where only of late by a wild churchyard gate

I once said I do and you too.

As I covered the church with the span of my hand

I was happier then than I could have known how

and I’d go back again to that deep, green glen

to wed you once more in that church by the shore
Rest in peace Margaret my con dolences too all your family xxx
Rest in Peace Margaret,
