Grainne, Colm, Eimear and all the Moran family - as you well know you were blessed to have Margaret as your Mum. We only had your Mum as our coach when we were young but now that we are older we really appreciate all she did with us and all the time she put into us. Always good sport and encouraged us to try everything. A lady. She will always be remembered by all of us from those good days. Rest in peace Margaret x

Coaching kids at the Mardyke track at the weekend, knees in puddles by the Long Jump Pit, I though of Margaret: guiding a generation of young athletes through not just their athletic endeavors, but through adolescence, with grace, charm and a fierce belief in everyone of us.
