It was with a sense of much sadness, I have learnt of the death of one of our more senior neighbours, Margaret Neville, R I P . May she rest in peace, rewarded for her goodness and kindness in life, granted a very special place in her new found heavenly home, reunited with all her loved ones gone before her, especially her parents, her sister Mary, many relatives, to share in that everlasting heavenly peace and joy of which Margaret richly deserves, after a fulfilling Christian life. Margaret, was a person who loved her home, the environment of Innishannon, her church, and her great interest in people. In her earlier life, she worked in Cork City, would walk down to the early bus to Cork,before she retired, looking after her Father, when her mother died. She loved to see people progress, had a great interest in how young people were doing in schools, and college, she could easily remember names, dates, and events . She particularly enjoyed the house Stations, where she met her neighbours, the clergy, whom she greatly respected. Margaret, had a beautiful garden, especially in the spring, fabulous, Azaleas, spring flowering shrubs, and daffodils. When, she decided to depart her residence to go into residential living, her home was idle, was sad every time you passed by, you were reminded that Margaret was no longer present.She used to sit inside the porch window to view the world go by. May the Lord bless and comfort Margaret, and all those who are grieving her loss.
