Ive known Margaret since i went to the Mercy convent national school on francis street many years ago, as she worked in Moloneys corner shop, and a lot of school kids would pop in after school, as i worked in galway i would meet her a lot over the years, and many years later she was a client of mine (I was a Hairstylist).and she knew i was very friendly with her nephew Paul,who she loved talking about. Ive always liked her she was a lovely lady, thinking of you all with your loss.

Saddened to hear of the passing of my mother's cousin Margaret. I worked with her in both Gills and Griffins on different summer jobs. She took me under her wing and I learnt a lot from her.

I was so sad Paul to hear of Margaret’s passing. She was such a lovely, gentle, charming, and kind woman. I can never recall her being in bad humour or anything less than helpful and nice. I got to know her when she worked in Griffin’s Bakery and the Advertiser office was located in Church Lane. I’d pop over each morning for a scone but would upgrade to a fancy bun with a little encouragement from Margaret! She was always smiling and gracious. After she retired we’d bump into each other now and then and have a chat. It was always lovely to meet her. Condolences to your mum and the extended Fahy and Newell family.
