We are so sorry to hear of my Godmother Margaret’s passing. My sister Aileen, brother-in-law Gerry (The Kerryman) and daughter Ashley saw her and Patricia last summer for a lovely visit filled with laughs - much like many visits with Margaret in the years before. We will remember her fondly, and may God rest her soul.

We will greatly miss the fun we always had with Margaret when visiting Donegal. We have a beautiful picture on our fridge for a few years now of us with her. It captures the sense of fun we always had on visits. Whether it was talking about the small doorway entrance or the holy relics or her penchant for dousing us in Holy Water. We were so sorry to miss the funeral mass in person but thankfully got to it online. God speed Margaret, we remember you fondly. Sincere condolences to Róisín, Patricia, Anthony and the whole O Callaghan family. On any visit to Bruckless, I remember the very sincere welcome and laughing with Margaret at many stories. She got great joy out of attempting to get my mother (Aileen McGill O’Shea) to eat porridge. As we got on the road, Margaret sprayed us with holy water. We felt both cared for and her signature sense of fun.
