Margaret was a wonderful woman. She insisted on us calling her by her first name in a time when everyone was called Mr. or Mrs. That helps to sum up what a humble individual that she was.

She was a kind, fun and engaging person. She was also a good friend to our mother.

Deepest condolences to Sean, Catherine, Michael, and Teresa. You were lucky to have such an amazing person as your mother.

Really sorry to just hear of the passing of your dear Mum. Margaret was a wonderful woman and always brought fun and joy into our house. Really sorry to have missed your Mums final journey. Rest in Peace.

Our deepest sympathies on the passing of your lovely mother, Margaret.
She was such a kind and caring person as we grew up in Birchgrove. One of my fondest childhood memories of her is from Halloween night: while most houses gave out monkey nuts and apples, Margaret welcomed us with homemade buns and chocolate treats—so much so that we would call back for seconds. It’s a small memory, but one that speaks so clearly to her warmth and generosity.

We are so sorry that Margaret has died. She had a special place in all our hearts of the ‘Booterstown gang’. A unique lady who was fun, caring, always with a warm smile & wise words that was such a positive influence on the younger generation as they grew up.

Sean, Catherine, Michael and Teresa I was so sorry to hear of your dear Mums passing. May she rest in peace. Your Mum was so caring and when we moved to Birchgrove was so welcoming, which continued throughout our stay. She helped Dad alot in his last years living alone and always had a wonderful smile. I loved our little chats and I do hope you take some comfort in what a wonderful person your Mum was.

My heartfelt condolences to all the O’Connor clan who have said goodbye to their lovely Mum Margaret. She was a character on the road before being a character was a thing. I got to know Margaret better as a customer in more recent years, where you were always greeted with a fry up and a chat before work could start. I’m not sure who was grilled more, me or the fry! A lovely kind lady who’ll be fondly remembered by all the Birchgrovians from back in the day.
