Sincere condolences to all of Margaret's family on her passing. While we did not know her personally we often heard both of our parents speak highly of her esteemed musical talent. Another link with her birthplace sadly broken. May she rest in peace.

Sheila McEvoy was my piano teacher, and was very proud of her young niece - one Margaret Hayes -who was heading to Dublin to pursue her musical career. May they rest in peace. Sincere sympathy to the family.

We have happy and fond memories of the visits by Margaret and Michael to Australia and of times spent with them in Dublin.

So sorry to hear of Margaret's death. May she rest in peace. Her musical talent was held in high esteem in Granard, and we were very proud to hear her name associated with her native place. Some years back she enhanced the Liturgy of a relative's funeral here in St. Mary's Church with a beautiful violin solo piece.
