Dear Anne and family,
I am very sorry to hear about Peg - I hope you all realise how truly blessed you were to have her as a mother. As you know Anne, I met Peg a number of times through the years and I can honestly say that the advice she gave to me has been some of the best advice I have ever received. Peg loved the truth, and she knew that to STICK WITH THE TRUTH (no matter what comes your way) is the ONLY way to achieve the ultimate success of meriting eternal life in heaven.
According to lay theologian Ernest Hello "He who LOVES THE TRUTH - DETESTS ERROR! The detestation of error is the touchstone by which LOVE OF TRUTH is recognised. He who once loved the truth and later no longer loves it, does not immediately declare his defection, but begins by detesting the error less than before, and thus he deceives himself".
Peg loved God's Truth and detested the errors of the world. May God have mercy on her soul, and may He welcome her into His eternal Kingdom with those most beautiful of words - "Well done, good and faithful servant...enter thou into the joy of thy Lord" (Matt 25:21)
