Peg was a good friend and neighbour to us for 30 years. A kind and gentle lady who never had a bad word to say about anybody. Peg will be missed so much by all who knew and loved her.

So very sorry to have heard about Peg. Such a wonderful lady. I will never forget the kindness and welcome she gave me in 1981. Arriving into the kitchen with Declan, the 'culchie from Sligo', she made me very welcome. Leaving her happy home that evening with a full belly and laughing at her chasing her big boys around the kitchen to the jibes of her beloved husband, a great memory. I used to look forward to sending her the Christmas card and this last Christmas sending her a very different card after Declan's Funeral. She will be missed, she was and is loved and her kind legacy lives on in her grandchildren, as I've seen. Peg, irreplaceable.
