Loved meeting her in town for the chat( pre COVID) she was always so cheerful. Remember when she lived opposite us in Rockenham many moons ago. Rest easy Peggy.

Condoléances to all the Ahearns on Peggy’s passing. She leaves a great legacy. My memories of her go back 60+ years when she would come to John’s Park every Monday night - that Monday visit continued for 50 years. In recent years, on my trips home, I would look forward to knocking on the door of no. 10 and Peggy would open it with that fabulous smile. That is how I will remember her. John
