And as you know she was an exceptional friend both to Nano and our mother Rose who loved her dearly. In Rose's later years their annual trips to Knock were a highlight for her as was any opportunity to meet up - usually with you as chauffeur..

Codolences to the Connaughton Family on the death of your Mum. Our family connection started with my grandmother (Gertie) and yours (Peg) who were lifelong friends. Your mum was a true and enduring friend to the Walsh/O'brien/Toomey/Deasy familes. I have many fond memories of visiting (auntie) Peggy in the "upside down" house in Dundrum, and also of the various Connaughton boys who were press ganged into babysitting service when we lived in nearby Churchtown. May she rest in peace.
