Sincere condolences to dear Margaret (Peggy’s) family, friends and relatives. I worked for many years with Margaret, as Night Manager of the former DOP in Southampton. I can honestly say, hand on heart, that Margaret was one of the sweetest, most caring and generous people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and work with. She was very much loved by staff and patients alike. Margaret would regularly provide ‘treats’ on shift for ward staff, and always seemed to remember, or at least find out, when her colleagues birthdays were. She truly was one in a million, and it was a sad, sad day (for us) when she eventually retired. God bless her. ☘️
