Margaret ( Peggy ) Hogan

So sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. My sincere sympathy to all of her family and to her many friends. Peggy was a warm hearted woman, who always gave me a great welcome whenever I visited Meanus Church. She was always so helpful. Peggy travelled with us on many Sagart Pilgrimages to Lourdes making life long friends. We have great memories of those pilgrimages. Now that her journey of life is complete and her work s done, we pray that Peggy will rest in peace. Unfortunately I was not able to attend her funeral. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

Sincere sympathy to the Hogan family on Peggys passing. I was friends with Peggy for over 66years.Peggy worked in PJ Ryan's grocery store in Bruff in the late 50s or early 60s with May, Peggy, Ann and Mary. She was there for a long time, had many friends one of them being Jimmy. I was with her about 2 weeks ago and she talked about those days and talked about this Jimmy after all these years. We were to continue this conversation when I went over again but it wasn't to be sadly. So Peggy RIP.

A lifelong devoted, dedicated sacristan in our church here in Meanus - 3rd generation of her family. A pillar of our parish society - loved by all-she was involved in many community organisations down through the years, worked in the shop & post office, participated in Scór & many plays. The picture of Peggy on this notice tells the true story of her life - happy, smiling, proudly wearing her Limerick jersey & enjoying a match. She'll be greatly missed in our community.
