Dear Caroline, Helen, Séamus, Family and Friends,

I was so sorry to learn of Peggy's passing. I would liked to have attended the funeral but found I had prior commitments . My absence was unavoidable. I attended Peggy's funeral via the internet. Wow, it was a most dignified and solemn Mass as I know that would have been Peggy's wish. Fr Milo played a blinder and his homily was perfect. The grandchildren and their music did her proud. I was always fond of Peggy. She always treated me with courtesy and genuine care. The people of Ardmore have lost a true pillar of care, dependency, consistency and genuine goodness. May Peg now enjoy her just reward with John and her dear friend Mary P. I have offered Mass for Peggy today.

She was a lovely friendly welcoming lady.

Paul thought very fondly of her and his chats with her on the early days of us moving to Ardmore.
Both she and Mary (RIP) made us feel so welcome and part of the community in Ardmore from the moment we moved here.
I have lovely memories of that and Paul loving his own time in Keevers bar chatting to Peggy.
It is very sad to see her pass on, a lady like Peggy is rare to find. May she rest in peace.
