I’ll always carry such fond memories of Nan, coming home from school to the aroma of fresh baked bread cooling on the windowsill (God, that bread was loved), along with those amazing lamb stews she used to make. The house was always full of life, with people coming and going, and a warmth that greeted you the minute you walked in.

She was always so kind and fond of her grandchildren, would always check in on them, and loved nothing more than a good chat or a good game of 41. Im so glad that the great grandchildren got to meet her.

It’s those small, everyday moments that stay with me the most and remind me just how special she was.
