Dear Joan, Michelle, extended Mullan, Monaghan, Whooley and Doherty families. It is with big sadness I read about Peggy’s death . My goodness I have fondest memories of Peggy between visiting Wolfe Tone Street as a child , to Larkhill Road in later years etc... Over the years Peggy was a loving, kind and sincere friend to my mother Margo, having began in their nursing careers, to being her bridesmaid in 1962 ,through to family gatherings , card games , dinner dances ... eventually reaching HSE retirement group . I wish her eternal peace and remember you all have a special Guardian Angel watching over you now. Sincerest sympathy and best wishes to you all.

It was with great sorrow I heard of Peggy's passing. We had such great times in our younger days in 'The Whooley family home going to dances and so welcomed by Ma and Pa Whooley. Then I worked with Peggy and my dear friend Phil RIP AT Sligo hospital, Later Peggy and I met up again as student midwifes at the Royal Maternity hospital Belfast We rode bikes up the Shank hill and down The Falls when on the district. Our movements through life separated all of us but the memories were sweet. Since I moved from Donegal to Sligo a year and a half ago I got to meet with Peggy a few times. Twice at the Cathedral where she easily slipped into my seat for a natter Our most recent meeting was at Pamela Scotts in Johnston Court she said aren't we doing alright when we have our cars to drive around in . I sincerely sympathise with Peggy's Children and Grandchildren and Jenny and Sheila and all the family at this sorrowful time especially when we are all under lockdown which makes it so difficult for the family. May she so rest in peace. She had a great faith in the Lord may she be well received in her new home and may angel's wings guide her home.
