To the O'Neill Family, My brothers Fergal, Kevin, Brian & I wanted to extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your lovely Mam. We have such fond memories of Aunty O'Neill from our childhood, growing up next door to a woman who was literally referred to as our aunt. There are so many stories that we treasure, from the usual childhood dilemmas like being locked out after school and heading straight into Aunty O'Neill's house for the spare keys and whatever treat was in the press for us.
I remember when Fergal went travelling to Australia, your Mam took the time to fix up his backpack and even secretly sewed a little holy medal inside to keep him safe on his journey. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to our Mam. When our own lovely Mam passed away, it was straight into Aunty O Neill for a cup of tea and her kind words.
I like to imagine that she is up there now, having plenty of tea with all those who have gone before her. Her warmth and kindness will never be forgotten by us. Fergal, Bronagh, Kevin & Brian
