I knew your mother very well when we were young and they were a lovely family. i was very friendly with her sister Jean and remember peggy so well. I used to sleep around their house if we went out socially. their mother was a lovely lady and so gentle. i have now lived in England for the last 50 years but never forgot the family as we all went to school in cobh together. i am sending our love and prayers to you all and from reading about her life she seemed a loving wife and a great mother and grandmother. thinking of you all at this sad time. True friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart." I am very saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend Peggy.

I have so many fond memories of her over the years. She had a great way of looking at the life and loved to laugh. Her heart was as big as her smile. I always enjoyed our long chats and her positivity.
She loved her fashion and daily crosswords.
When we met in person we would laugh and chat the world wrongs to right. When we talked on the phone it was always hard to hang up as she loved to talk.

Sometimes people come into your life for a season. “I am a better person by knowing her loving her, and meeting her. May she be as blessed in the next life as I was in this one by knowing her, my friend.” Rest in eternal peace dear Peggy. Never forgotton. Ann

We were in a class together in The School of Commerce in the 60s where she spent most lunchtimes sitting on one of the window ledges on the top floor of the school hoping to catch a glimpse of Sean where he worked if i remember properly in a garage across the river. Happy Days.
