With sincere sympathy Helen ,Mary and Jane , Gearóidín and all the extended family on the death of a beautiful lady Peggy. She lived a long time after her great friends Peg Hartley, Breda Horgan and my own mam Margaret Lee . They shared their faith in all kinds of places , the Church , prayer meetings , hospitals Knock vigils … it is no coincidence that Peggy should join them as we approach Pentecost. The Holy Spirit brought them together all those years ago . Their many get togethers always ended in chat and laughter.
When I was lucky to meet Peggy fairly recently we had a good chat but with tears in her eyes she said … I miss them all .. I miss Dick ..she is surely reaping her reward today as she joins all those she knew and loved.
May you all find comfort through these tough days .. May Peggy rest in peace.

Helen, Mary and Jane, please accept my sincere condolences on the death of your beloved Mam. Her friendship and that of the family spans generations with my own and she and my Mam had a very special friendship. She and your late Dad were the sort of people that you would always enjoy meeting. Their obvious love for each other and interest in everyone they met was a breath of fresh air. Their names were always uttered together "Peggy and Dick". The world is a lesser place for her passing but I just know that there is a a great "Mulgrave Street get together" happening in heaven right now. Rest easy Peggy you were a beautiful person inside and out.
