My heartfelt sympathy to all the Healy family and friends who mourn the loss of Peig.
I have fond memories from visits to Dalkey of Peig’s generous nature, her energy and sense of humour, her love for Des and her children and grandchildren, and the witness of her love for God.
In your time of loss. I pray that God gives each of you consolation from Heaven. I pray that Peig receives the reward of her Faith and, reunited with Des, rests in eternal peace.

I have lovely memories of Peig as we were all growing up in Saval Park. To name but a few.
She was a very warm and considerate lady. We had lots of chats over a cups of tea and coffee. There was also lots of music and singing done in your home.And now we get to celebrate a lovely life well lived. RIP Peig.

We have very fond memories of Peig as our neighbour long ago in Saval Park Gardens and of course during holidays in Dereenatra.
There’s a lovely phrase;

She had such a huge heart full of love , a mind of great wisdom and a spirit that was truly unique. To all the Healy Family - what can I say, Peig has been part of our lives for so long. I remember Peig for her wisdom (Wisdom!!), her knowledge of Scripture, her teaching, her hospitality, how she mothered us all, for her joy and for her great love of Des and you all. I think Peig is in fact, the last parents to go home! Peig was an amazing woman, mother, wife, friend, - a gem! My thoughts are with you all. Marie

So sorry for all the Healy family on the death of a lovely lady. She really was a wonderful person and I enjoyed many good chats with her, particularly when stufying sociology. She was more insightful than many of my lecturers. She was also a great person and was so proud of her lovely family. Im sure you will give her a great send off on her final journey. I regret that I an cannot be there.

To the Healy family, we were so saddened to hear of Peig's passing. What a lady. We have very fond memories of many conversations at many parties and get-togethers over the years. May she Rest in Peace back with her beloved Des.

Words are almost inadequate when describing Peggy. She was kind, compassionate, wise and a perfect Christian. She had a great understanding of human nature and especially of young people. Her counsel to me and others when teenagers shone a light into our lives.
