Dear Ryan and O Reilly families .We are all very sad to hear Margaret has passed away .Many great memories from Ballinlough NS , the nature walks in Bobs fields were my favourite ,she had a way to make school fun for all . The genuine interest in her students continued for life , she was always there to share a word of advice right to the end .

To the extended Ryan family I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to you all on the sad passing of your beloved mum Margaret. I go back a long way to September 1969 when I started in the old school in Ballinlough now the Community Centre. A different era !!!. Margaret was my teacher for 5.5 years of my primary education and she left a lasting impression on me. She was a lady well before her time emphasising the importance of the environment and the green agenda many moons ago. I retire from work on the you are laid to rest. Thank you for giving me the life skills and the rounded education to take me through life so far. See you on the other side. Rest in peace Margaret.

I am sad to learn of the passing of my dear friend, Margaret, of yesteryear. We met in Carysfort College in 1953. As teaching colleagues we were members of the INTO in Kells. In our early teacher days I stayed with her while she took care of the home and hens of her uncle and aunt - the Mc Donnells who were on holidays. We cycled to the 'pictures' in Oldcastle and were so happy when offered a trip by car to the carnival in Virginia. To the Ryan and O'Reilly families I extend my sincere sympathy. Margaret was a noble lady highly dedicated to the cause of Education. May her soul find rest with The Lord in Heaven. Go raibh a h-anam uasal, dílis go h-árd ar Fhlaitheas Dê de shìoraí na beatha ! I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Margaret.
