The members of Borris in Ossory Social Services Committee would like to extend sincere sympathy to the family of the late Margaret Shortiss RIP.
Margaret enjoyed the monthly Bingo/Afternoon tea parties hosted by the Committee and also the annual Senior Citizens Party. She travelled on many outings and coach tours and was always good company, a lovely friendly person who loved to chat and make friends with those around her.

So sorry to hear of Margaret's death. Sincere sympathy to all her family. She was an ICA member for many years and I have lovely memories of Margaret coming on foreign holidays with us and indeed several weekend trips in Ireland. She also enjoyed the monthly Bingo parties and bus tours organised by Borris in Ossory Social Services.
Margaret volunteered for many years selling daffodils on Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. She was a lovely, gentle lady. May she rest in peace.
