Marguerite was a member of our Social and Active Group for several years, and is fondly remembered by the community here in Westgate. Marguerite was great company who enjoyed the sing-songs on trips to Killarney, Galway and other places. Marguerite is remembered as a gentle woman and a lovely companion. May she Rest in Peace.

I am really sorry to hear this sad news. Marguerite and I soldiered together in UCC in the late '70s. She was a genuine decent and gentle lady and a good friend. We had great times together in a close knit group. She will not be forgotten. God rest her gentle soul.

I was sorry to hear Marguerite has passed away. We were all part of a great group of friends back in the mid 70’s early 80’s in UCC and I recall we all had each other’s backs. She was kind, soft spoken and generous. . May she rest in peace. Condolences to all her family .

So sad to hear of Marguerite's passing. Marguerite , her wonderful mum and dad and all of the Fennells were a huge part of my growing up. I spent my teenage years going back and forward to Hilton in Mullinahone helping with the hay or riding horses or driving up and down the back avenue. We spent our summers on holidays with the Fennells in Kilkee and Kilrush or playing tennis in Tipperary and Carrick on Suir.Very happy days. To Nell, Carol ,Hilda, Will and Rose my sincerest condolences. I have wonderful memories of my teenage years thanks to the kindness of your parents Pat and Hilda. May Marguerite rest in peace.
