Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Fond memories of a wonderful lady with immense kindness; courage; positivity and stoicism. Tony was extremely fond of her and always recalled the fun parties she arranged for her nieces and nephews. As a family we loved our visits to her in Chepstow. Aunty Rita leaves a lasting impression on us all. Linda, Elaine, Dara and Lisa
Farewell and sweetdreams my favourite little lady. Was always a pleasure to care for you and chat. I’ll never forget our last day together. But for now I hope you have the best bed in heaven. We’ll meet again ❤️ Lots of love ❤️
The visits from Auntie Rita when I was a child have lived long in my memory. The excitement as she arrived with large bags filled with sweets, she knew the way to my heart. I was lucky enough to get to know Auntie Rita as an adult too. I have very treasured memories of my visits to her house with my Grandad (Joe). I’d be served the strongest cup of tea in Dublin, coupled with fresh baked scones and jam and got to hear stories of her youth as she and my Grandad reminisced. Great stories of a great life lived. I knew I had really made it one year, when I got on the honours roll and received one of her famous Christmas puddings. Rita you were an inspirational woman, rest in peace. Roisin (Joe’s Granddaughter) Roy, Tadhg and Oran
