Extremely saddened to hear about Mrs. Martin’s passing. She was my favourite teacher without a doubt during my entire school life. I still thought of her very often, even though I graduated in 2016. She had also left a legacy in my life, as she was the reason why I pursued a law degree. Mrs Martin took matters into her own hands, and marched me and my twin sister to the local solicitors office, and left us there to do our 4th year work experience- much to the solicitors’ surprise! I will always remember her for this impact on my life among many things. Sincere condolences to her family. Mrs Martin will be sadly missed
My deepest condolences to all of Marguerite's loved ones. Since retiring from teaching, Marguerite did us the great honour of being part of the team at the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre in Oldbridge. Her enthusiasm and love of history enriched everyone she met, whether visitors or colleagues. Marguerite was a brilliant educator in every sense and we were very fortunate to benefit from her knowledge, her wealth of experience, but most of all her lovely character and warmth. May she rest in peace.

She enjoyed her new career after her many years teaching and she excelled at her work, going above and beyond to help visitors at the centre. She was a very dear colleague to me and others and we enjoyed many chats. She spoke often of you, Frank and Andrew, and her love for you and the rest of her extended family was obvious. I will miss her.

Marguerite spearheaded the Transition Year programme in St Mary’s Secondary School, Baldoyle.it proved to be a very innovative programme combining academic, creative and personal developments of the students. This was achieved by students taking part in wide and varied extracurricular programmes as well as a sound academic programme.
