Mari was such a lovely woman so funny and bubbly. I used to torment her when she lived in Seafield but she was well able for me. I am so sorry to hear of her sudden passing. Condolences to all of Mari’s family. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mari’s passing. She was the light of the Glebe NS. I’ll always remember her kind words in hard times. Her service today was full of love and colour, which is how my family and I remember her.

Heart broken to hear about maris passing, she was an incredible person. She was my SNA in primary school and made me the person i am. Her kind, Caring, funny, stern nature made her brilliant at her job. And she will be deeply missed by me , and all the other students she helped.

I remember Mari from my time as a student in the Glebe NS in Wicklow Town. I still remember how she made me feel as a child which is a testament to her kind nature. She was always so kind, bubbly and warm (and of course I have to mention that I remember thinking she was so cool because she always had a different colour hair!). I have no doubt that she played a huge part in many other childhoods in Wicklow Town, including that of my 4 siblings. We were all very sad to hear this news. My sincere condolences to her friends and family - my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Every Time we see a rainbow we will think of Mari and her colourful hair, but especially her colourful personality and vibrant attitude to life. Condolences to all of the family. RIP Mari x

Mari was a beautiful soul. So kind to all the children when she worked in the Glebe. Always a pleasure to meet her as her bright smile would make your day. My sincere condolences to her family especially my old mate Jim on what is a truly tragic loss.
