I am shocked to hear of Maria’s passing, during our time working together it was always so lovely to be in Maria’s company she was so warm, kind, caring and had such a great sense of humour.
I am so saddened to hear of Maria’s passing and sending condolences to Maria’s family who she often spoke so fondly about.

I was so saddened to hear of Maria’s passing. I had the great pleasure of working with Maria over many years in various roles, and we always kept in touch. She was truly special — kind, generous, and wonderfully funny.

No birthday or Christmas ever went unmarked, and her baking was second to none. She spoke of you and the family with such affection; it was always clear how deeply she loved you all.

Maria will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Maria's Dad, brothers and the wider Bourke family. I had the pleasure of working with Maria in PTSB. She was a truly special person - so kind, caring, generous, and thoughtful - always putting others first even while she was going through so much herself. She adored her Dad and loved her family deeply, and she will be missed by so many. May she rest peacefully, free from pain, and reunited with her beloved Mum.

What started off as polite neighbours exchanging a "wave and a hello" across the road over the years turned into one of the most cherished friendships I was very lucky to have. Maria was that constant loyal friend always checking in, baking lots of delicious delights for us all, sharing jokes and so much laughter even on her darkest of days she always had a smile and wanted to know how YOU are. She idolised her parents and did all she could for them. Selfishly though, my most favourite memories are sharing the love we had for our most important jobs in life - being Doggie Mammies! Ivy was everything to Maria, we knew we were as mad as each other about our doggies - exchanging daily photos and funny stories was just the norm. Oak Lawn won't be the same without our lovely Maria.

I had the pleasure of working with Maria for a number of years in HR at PTSB and she was the loveliest person,always so friendly,fun& a great friend. Maria was so loved beyond measure. There are few people who leave a lasting impression like Maria did. I feel so lucky to have worked alongside her. She faced every challenge with such strength and greeted everyone with a warmth that was contagious. She was an amazing woman, and work feels very much dimmer without her. So sorry to hear of Maria’s passing! She was always front and centre in all of our Zoom workouts during Covid and always had a smile on her face. She was a favourite of all the teachers here In Platinum Pilates.

She was so kind to me when my own mum was sick and always sent a card on her anniversary! I’m sorry we never got to get that lunch we talked about. Rest in Peace Maria 💔

I’m so very saddened to hear of Maria’s passing. I have very fond memories of her from our childhood days, always so kind and whenever I saw her recently she would greet you with such a contagious smile. I will always remember the kindness and empathy she showed me upon my mams death.
