Your Mom was so nice and accommodating to the weary travelers and put up with our shenanigans through our stay. We are thinking of you and sending our peace and love.

Maria was a lovely person. She had a solid base in traditional and community values, allied to a natural style and elegance. She was adept at reading personalities, often demonstrated in hilarious anecdotes and gentle ribbing, and of course always accompanied by her infectious laugh, even when faced over recent years with the uncertainties of her own health. Every Thursday for many years, she travelled with her Kinvara friends Josie, Carmel, Sharon, Susan and of course the late lamented Sue to the Tribes Bridge Club in Galway City, bringing their refreshing balance of enjoyment and competitiveness to the Club. We shall miss her greatly. Solas na bhFlaitheas dá hanam gealgháireach.
