We had so much laughter with Maria over the years and the things apart from laughter that defined her life were her intense love of and care for you two and her courage in overcoming all the hardships of the last 15 years. She was a mighty woman! We know you will be the proud brave human beings she taught you to be. She is with you always - as she is in you. Hold fast to that in times of trouble. Much love xx

Sincere condolences to Maria’s family on her passing. I worked with Maria many many years ago in Dublin County Council/Fingal County Council, she was always great for a laugh, a witty conversation and an all round great person. May she rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy on the passing of your lovely Mam. I was so shocked to hear the sad news. I worked closely with Maria in the Parks Department. Such a lovely lady. We had many laughs together. She was a very strong lady and always smiling even through all her health issues. She was so proud to be your Mam and she will be looking down on you both. May she rest in peace.

I met Maria when we had our first babies...she was a breath of fresh air & a great support to me as my family live in Wexford. When I moved back home we stayed in touch through social media. So sad to hear of her passing. Thinking of Donal, Ailbhe & her family. x

Still living in Killester avenue, I am old enough to remember making purchases from Donal Quill , the pharmacist around the corner. And then I recall Maria when I worked in Dublin County council and then Fingal. Her brother John practices as an optician next to where their chemists shop was. I am sad to learn of Maria's passing. I am so saddened to hear of Maria's sudden passing.
