Sincere condolences to the Flynn family. I am so shocked and deeply saddened to hear that Marian has passed away. It feels so cruel, with so much life still ahead of her. I truly enjoyed following her travels and seeing her live life to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by so many.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marian as we travelled through West Africa together. She had such a beautiful quiet confidence. I can still hear her saying everything is “grand”and being upbeat even as we had to unexpectedly sleep in our van amongst other mishaps. I am so grateful I got to spend even a short amount of time with her.

Sending the family peace, comfort and healing as you navigate this difficult time.

Marian was a beautiful girl inside and out and will always be remembered fondly.

What I admired most about Marian was her energy and vibrancy. She lived with such 'joie de vivre.' I will always cherish our chats about her travels — her eyes lit up whenever she spoke about her latest adventure or her next destination.

However, above all, it was clear that her family was her greatest joy ❤️
