I was so sad to hear of Marion's untimely death. I was a student of hers in Newport 1980-84 and remember her as a beautiful vivacious person who was liked and respected in equal measure. Her legacy and influence will endure. RIP Marion - au revoir.

I was very sorry to hear of Marian's passing, she was such a lady and a wonderful friend to mum over the years. I'm glad I got to see her at the 10 year anniversary gathering three years ago, she was as warm, stylish and bright as always and will forever be remembered that way. RIP Marian.

I had the pleasure of being taught by this wonderful human being back in the mid eighties. She was caring , kind and considerate and genuinely interested in her students. R.I.P a great woman - she got me through French which opened up so many opportunities in life for me and she did it with kindness and respect. Condolences to the family.
