Sincere sympathy to Luke, Marie and family. I remember Marion and Kevin from our first meeting on their first journey to Ballybunion. Marion was a wonderful tenant and neighbour to all. She was a very gentle soul, yet a great organiser and activist. She will be much missed and fondly remembered. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Marian's death from Sr Margaret Slattery. I will never forget how she stepped in and took me under her wing like the good mother she was, when I was in Mater De Hospital in Bulawayo, in 1992, where I knew nobody. She advised me ,looked after me, fed me and mentored me in every way during my time living there and always lent me her shoulder to cry on when it was required! .Her sense of humour often lifted my spirits when the going was rough. Her strength was in her love for people and especially the devotion she had to Kevin and Luke.. She was a shining example of what living out her marriage commitment was. I will never forget the great gift God gave me when she came into my life. My only regret is that I never got to see her in Limerick .Covit saw to that.

I came to know Marian very well on my visits to the Park nursing home Castletroy where my mother Kathleen was a patient as was Kevin her husband..I had many chats with her over the years and shared a Christmas dinner or two with her and Kevin there. She was a wonderful woman with great heart, courage and kindness for everyone. She will be greatly missed .My deepest sympathies to the Moloney family.

I will miss Marion very much. Always so positive and full of fun and kindness. I will treasure the memories of our friendship.

Sincere condolences to Luke, Marie and Marian’s family. Marian was a volunteer in our school, supporting our younger pupils with their reading, through a Barnardos initiative. She made an invaluable contribution to our pupils’ learning, for which we were truly grateful. She was such an interesting person and had a great sense of humour. I hope your fond memories of happy times together will comfort you now and in the days ahead. Knowing her was a privilege.
