I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Marian who looked after me when I was in Castlecomer and spoke so highly about her family to me and would always stop and chat to me and never made me feel lonely I always was looked after by her and all the staff - may her beautiful soul rest in peace ❤️

So sorry to hear of Marian’s passing,
Thought and prayers with all Marian’s family and everyone in SHH. She spoke so much of her family, from the horse and donkey to the pet lamb. We looked forward to everyday working with Marian in the kitchen, she looked after us like one of her own and made sure to put a smile on our faces.
There are no words to portray the sympathy felt to you all with Marian’s passing.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Marian. Her bright smile, electric red hair, and infectious energy lit up every corner of Castlecomer District Hospital. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Marian, she cared deeply for all patients and staff. Marian’s love for travel, lighthouses, and making memories with her beloved family made her truly special. She spoke so lovingly of her children, Emily and Adam, her husband Pa, her mam marie, and her brothers. I hope she is now at peace, reunited with her daddy and brothers in heaven. Marian, you will be sorely missed and forever remembered. Rest in eternal peace, Marian. You’ve fought your battle with courage, now may you find the peace you so deeply deserve. Your strength, love, and light will never be forgotten.
