Dear Angela, it was lovely to meet you x miss Brady outside her house just before she passed. She was a very special lady x helped my mother out in so many ways. She was so fond of you x I know how much she valued your friendship. Maybe rest in peace. Michele
Miss Brady will be remembered in Kilbarrack as a great neighbour and friend to my late parents Maureen and Paddy McGirr over many years. May she rest in eternal peace.
So sad to hear of Miss Brady's passing. She was a wonderful teacher, strict but very fair. With her help I managed to get the Honour in Irish which I needed to enable me to go on to third level.. Many generations of Eccles Street girls remember her with fondness and respect.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh anam dílis RIP Miss Brady.
Thank you Miss Brady for your huge contribution to the students of Eccles St. I remember you at the front door chastising us latecomers. At the time I was terrified but you were always fair. When I look back now I realise what you were trying to instill and really appreciate all that you did.
Sad to hear of Ms Brady's passing RIP. Fond memories of her in Eccles St, she was a great Irish Teacher
Very sorry to hear this sad news. I remember Miss Brady patrolling the corridors of Eccles Street... She seemed to have the ability to be in many places at once. She sometimes seemed strict but everything she did was for the good of the pupils and the school... She was so dedicated to teaching and learning. She spent many Saturday mornings teaching Irish to some of us who had been without a teacher for a while and we had important exams coming up. She did everything in her power to prepare us and sacrificed her Saturdays to do so. I didn't appreciate it at the time but over the years, looking back, I did. May she rest in peace.

Miss Brady was my Irish teacher in Griffith Avenue . She made a lasting impression on me and all of us at Dominican for her dedication to her work, her passion for the Irish language but for me it was her kindness, fairness and sense of fun that I most remember her for . In those days not many teachers were as fair as her… she taught us so well and demanded high standards but that’s because she believed in our capabilities … I became a secondary school teacher myself and tried to channel some of her positive passionate energy into my own classes ! I’m sure she was a fantastic family member and friend and is sorely missed. Rest in peace Miss Brady
My Deepest sympathy s to Miss Brady's family and friends . I have fond memory's of her as my Irish teacher in Dominican College Eccles St .. What a great Irish teacher . I had the privilege of meeting her after leaving school in Hairmatters Clontarf some time ago . May Miss Brady rest in peace . .
Rest in Peace Ms Brady.
Grateful memories of Miss Brady getting me, with my rather poor Irish, through to a B in Honours Irish Leaving Cert. She was a stern but fair teacher. I admired her very much. In Dominican College, Eccles St she had also taught Latin to my mother, Marie. A legendary teacher - may she Rest in Peace

Very sad to hear of the death of Miss Brady, a dedicated and thoughtful teacher to me - Spanish and Irish for 5 years - who left a positive and lasting impression on me. I have thought of her many times since leaving Eccles Street in 1981. She had an aura that commanded respect without uttering a word. A truly amazing lady. Remembered with fondness. Rest in peace.

Miss Brady was a wonderful teacher of Irish. I often think of her and smile as an Irish phrase that I know because of her flashes through my mind. I never knew her first name until now. Rest in peace Marianne. Ar dheis Dé go raibh d'anam. Xx
