Es berührt uns, dass sie am Weihnachtstag gestorben ist und wir sind in Gedanken bei euch, wenn ihr in St. Finian‘s Abschied nehmt. Möge sie in Frieden ruhen und ihr getröstet werden.

Dear Claudio, dear Alex, I want to express my deepest sympathy to the death of Marianne.
I haven't seen her for years but she is so lively in my remembrance. It is like yesterday that I met her first in 2000 at my first ever visit to St. Finian's. She invited me to come back to church what I did. Without her friendliness and openness on that day I wouldn't be in the church council.
She leaves a legacy to the church most of it is certainly unknown to todays members and even pastors. The huge wardrobe now in the backroom was designed and ordered by her. The info board in the front garden was so important to her. And it is still there as well as the single cups which are being used each Sunday at holy communion.
I certainly will keep her in mind.
I wish you comfort in these difficult times. I wish you God's blessing these days and health for the future.
