I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Marie's passing.
Marie was an absolute lady she welcomed us onto the road and always had time to chat and share he stories with us.
May she rest in peace

Marie was an absolute lady, she took me under her wing, as an 18 year old in McCormick Macnaughton, she taught me everything she made be grounded and she had a great work ethic which I have to say it stood to me through my life, she said always be true to yourself. On a lighter note she was an amazing singer and dancier at our parties, thank you Marie for everything, rest in peace

Marie was a great member of the Drimnagh community. I would often meet her in the local shops and we would always have a chat. God Bless Marie, you led a great and beautiful life.

Words can not express how saddened we are to learn of your loss. It is really hard to believe Marie has left this earth, but I have no doubt that she has gone to a better place. Marie was a special "Gem" and "Asset" in our parish. I would like to say a big word of "Thank You" to Marie Barry for her commitment, generosity, kindness and specially her presence in our parish. Our parish was truly a better place with Marie Barry in it.

My condolences to all the Barry family at this sad time. I worked in McCormick Macnaughton with Marie until she retired. She had a busy life between work and her voluntary work with the Legion of Mary. May you rest in peace now Marie.

Marie was one of the nicest people I ever met in my life she never had nothing bad to say she only talked about goodness. I am deeply saddened I’ll never see her again I used to love even in recent times randomly bumping into her when she would be out walking and she would always fill me with positivity and hope for the future. I first met Marie in the 70s when she and her late mother would come to Elsinore to visit John,Kay and the boys (girls came later). Marie's visits were always a cause of huge excitement.In the years that followed I had the pleasure of Marie's company at many Barry occasions . She was always happy and smiling, with a great interest in people and the Church. I will miss the notes and cards in Marie's beautiful handwriting.
