We’re very sorry Francis, Maria, Andrea and Patrick to hear of the death of your mother, Tettie. Sincere sympathy at this difficult time to you all, to her sisters Paula and Gabrielle and to the extended Holt and Brady families.

She was a great mother to you all and sister to our mother Celia. There was hardly a day that she wasn’t on the phone to our mother and her other sisters. They all had a very strong bond that went back to their days growing up in Phibsboro. Aunty Tettie, our mother Celia and many of the Holt sisters had also trained as nurses in England and that caring side of her personality made her a lovely Aunty to us all.

Beannacht Dé lena hanam dílis.
Comhbhron le gach n-aon a raibh aithne acu uirthi sa saol naisiunta agus sa saol poibli. Is trua nach bhfuil againn ach seal ar dhroim an domhain mhoir seo. I bhFlaitheas De go raibh si san oiche anocht. Failteofar roimpi go neamh. Solas na bhFlaitheas da hanam go deo. Uaimse, le hurraim agus le meas. Seosamh an Mor 1

Very sad to learn of Aunty Tetty’s passing. It meant so much to me that she would always remember to call or send a card on our birthday – especially because we shared the same special day.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
