To my dearest aunty Marie, I’ve wonderful memories of the honest, hard working lady that you were. A talented dress maker, who made my communion and confirmation clothes, you had an eye for style. My best memories are of Joes surprise party in Alpine, your wedding anniversary fancy dress party in Weston and also the Christmas when yourself and Joe had up to 20 of us for Christmas dinner, it was a feast like no other.

So very sorry to hear Marie has passed away. We will never forget her and her kindness and all the happy times we all had together playing Badminton.. One of the things I remember Marie saying to me was when I told her I was going to become a Grandmother and she was full of excitement telling me how brilliant it was going to be and telling me how happy her Grandchildren made her.. Sending love and prayers to you Joe, Philip, Andrew and you're families. and to Annette Eileen and all the family. Wish we could be at funeral, but know we are there in spirit and will be thinking of you all, our dear friends.

I have such good memories of Marie and yourself, from your amazing wedding day and the beautiful dress she made for me on that occasion. My first machine embroidered irish dancing costume to designing and making both my wedding and bridesmaids dresses. There's so many more happy memories... never to be forgotten..
