We got to know the King family, Marie, Joan and Alice, and also Josephine O'Dea, during our visits to the Rose of Tralee festival many years ago. Mrs King was a lovely person and we stayed with her during the festival time. We enjoyed ourselves and i dont know how she put up with us coming home late from the festival and not too steady on our feet either! Lovely memories of happy times with Marie and her family during those years. Rest in Peace Marie.

With sadness, I read of the Passing of Marie. I only got to know Marie in recent years, but my sister-in-law, Nora Mary Moulton (RIP), had nursed under Marie's caring watch in Dublin.
Marie was always such a wonderful lady, gentle in voice and manner, courteous, kind, caring, competent, compassionate, with a beautiful smile that radiated warmth.
To Austin, Karen, and the extended King, Deasy, and Keohane families, please accept my sincere sympathy.
Though Marie will be gone from sight, may treasured memories allow her to live on in your Hearts and Minds. Grieve her Passing, but Believe that she is Present, by your side. Think of her. Talk to her. Walk with her.
Marie is very Happy as she starts her journey to Eternal Happiness and Eternal Life. She will be met at the Gates of Heaven by her beloved Jim, who with embracing Loving arms will say ;
"My beautiful Marie, I have been waiting and you have come to me to share Eternal Love ❤️. My darling, Welcome Home ❤️".
