Sincere condolences to you all on the loss of Marie. She was a wonderful lady and we have the fondest memories of our time with her minding us in O’Neill Park after school.
I’m sure we caused her and Mick a lot of trouble but we had a brilliant time with them and loved being there.
Fighting with Mick over the remote to watch The Den and staying with them for a few weeks while our parents were away at the World Cup were highlights. They even let us bring our Guinea pig with a broken leg who had to be very carefully nursed.

Marie was so kind to everyone and we really appreciate everything she did for us.
Peter, Susan and Catherine thank you for sharing your home and lovely mum ( and dad) with us. They were wonderful.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Marie's passing. I told her many times that she was a real lady and a true warior. She managed her illness with such courage and never complained.
