Deepest sympathy to the Croke & Pender nieces & nephews on the death of Marie.
Lizzie, Marie & Peadar were such a big part of my childhood as my Dad, Eamon & Lizzie were double cousins. They regularly came to tea at our home in Terenure when Marie would try to get Peadar to limit his biscuit intake !
Marie was so kind to my sister & myself when our parents died. She was a great listener, pragmatic, non judgemental & gave wise council when we would chat. In later years they would visit my home for family occasions & pop in when Brendan was home too.
She is reunited now with Peadar & all her loved ones gone before her. May Marie Rest in Peace.

It has been so long since I met het and Peader. She was a beautiful lady and we all loved her. I am so sorry to see her gone but happy to know they are together again.

So sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. Condolences to her nieces, nephews and relatives. Fond memories of visits by Marie and Peadar to Tullamore to my mother, her cousin, and to our house in Castleknock. A lovely lady. May she rest in peace.
