Very sad to hear of this tragic news. Marie was always good fun, kind, caring to all she met. Condolences to her family, Sean and all who knew and were close to her.

My thoughts are with Marie's family, friends and boyfriend. Marie was quiet simply a delight to work with. She clearly loved what she did and this was always evident when working with her. The students appreciated her dedication, knowledge and assistance. Marie was also a lovely, caring and fun person to be around and she will be missed.

We were so terribly sorry to hear the news about Marie's passing and can only but imagine your grief. We are sure that Mum gave you many hugs and kisses when she visited on Monday to cover those that we would have given you too had we been there.

I was shocked to hear of Marie's untimely death. Marie worked as a Career Guidance counsellor in the College for a few years. She was such a caring, committed person who provided great support to all the students. She was enthusiastic and professional in every way and we miss her greatly. Our deepest sympathy to her family at this difficult time.

I was so sorry to learn of Maria's passing. As her teacher in the early years, I can clearly recall her gentleness and refinement as she stood at my desk to read from her book on a daily basis. A model student who always behaved so well, she enjoyed the antics of the more challenging co-pupils. A lovely girl.

We started in a nervous group not knowing each other and within minutes we were friends for life, we partied till wee hours, had a holiday of a life time and with every breath she made people smile and laugh, she will be so sadly missed, she always was a breath of fresh air, and will never be forgotten,, xxxxx

I first remember a nervous Marie at interview, trembling yet bursting with enthusiasm and knowledge. I now remember a high achieving, more confident and effervescent woman still bursting with enthusiasm and knowledge, while always racing in that quest for more. Her love of and desire for learning is something we can all take with us in her memory.

Was so sorry to hear about Marie's sad passing. Went to the Friary and St. Vincent's together. Always remember her bright personality and infectious laugh; a genuinely lovely person. Condolences to all the family.

I am just stunned by this news. I knew Marie through the professional network of Careers Advisers in Ireland - she was totally committed to her work. She will be missed greatly by her colleagues in Ireland. Thoughts and condolences to her family and loved ones.
