My sincere condolences on the passing of the lovely Marie. I loved running into her when I worked in the Coombe. We always had great chats and I always came away smiling. She was eternally cheerful, with a ready smile. Rest in peace Marie x

We are very sorry to hear of Marie's recent passing. Unfortunately we were away and unaware of her death until today.

Our friendship with Marie went back for more than 40 years and we have many many happy memories of her warmth and humour and her boundless love of her cats. May she rest in peace.

We were so sorry to hear of Marie's passing. She was always so kind to us and Oscar when we lived on Harty Place. She was the life and soul of Harty Place and made everyone feel welcome.

We had the great pleasure of having Marie as a neighbour in Harty place. She was so much more than a neighbour, she was the most wonderful friend and she was a favourite of our two girls Isabel and Laura. They always wanted to call over to see Marie and her fabulous cats. She had so much patience and love for our girls and we will be forever grateful to the love and generosity she showed us all.
She had a wonderful sense of humour and made Harty place so so special, all the Harty Parties were so much fun and we loved being part of the best community in Dublin 8.
Thank you Marie for the magic you shared with us all. You truly were one of a kind and an absolute legend.

So sad to hear of Marie's passing. She was always full of life and mischief and you were always guaranteed a laugh when you were in her company. She lit up a room with her quick wit and love of puns, we spent many wonderful times with her including a holiday in Spain and we will miss her greatly. RIP Marie, one of a kind!

I met Marie through my friend Donna. Marie was a truly kind soul, and her love for cats showed the warmth and gentleness she brought to everyone around her. I met Marie in The Board of Works, Earlsfort Terrace in 1967 , I had to leave in 1968 when I got married , she left soon afterwards , we always had great fun with never a dull day, she attended my wedding in Galway in 1968 and our paths crossed at least 6 times when my children were born in the Coombe. I was shocked and sad to hear of her passing .Condolences to her brother and family .May her gentle soul rest in peace

So sorry to hear of Marie's passing. We first met when she joined the Admin staff in the "New Coombe" in 1968. I have many happy memories of our time working together. Marie may you rest in peace.
Marie thoughtfully gifted a rug for each of my Coombe born babes . I now use the same rugs in my studio as a protection on the work top when cleaning or changing frames .
I have great memories of her fun and games over many decades . A kind woman . Rest in peace
Marie was a joyful Secretary to meet & greet me in the Coombe Hospital on my visits there late '70's.
Very fortunate for me that I met her often afterwards at fun party gatherings with her Coombe friends.

Marie we met first in the Coombe Hospital in 1968 when were on the administration staff and life with you around was never boring.
You were always ready for fun and my nieces and nephews (now adults) have so many happy memories of the games you played with them.

Marie, we will miss you very much. Marie was such a big part of our lives growing up, teaching us all the girl guide songs and always making us laugh! I don't think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. And her laugh was infectious. A lover of cats and puns, there was always something fun going on wherever she was. So sorry to hear of the passing of cousin Marie. I have many lovely memories of visiting her and the family in Sallymount Avenue, when we were young. She was always such good fun. Rest in Peace.
Very sorry to learn of Marie's passing we had many fun times with Marie over the years, sharing birthday Months, star signs, mini plays and party pieces, cat jokes to beat the band along with her great giggle.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Marie's passing. She was so kind to us when we lived in Harty Place, a wonderful neighbour and such a lady. We loved calling over to her, surrounded by her beloved cats, hearing her stories of growing up in Ranelagh and her attendance at St Anne's. Thinking of all her family and friends at this time. We will miss Marie so much! So many happy memories from childhood, holidays, birthdays and of course Harty Place, where she was surrounded by great neighbours and friends (feline and not!).
