I was shocked and saddened by the news about Marie. We worked closely together for 23 of my 33 years working for the trade union ASTMS/MSF in various capacities. Her work was flawless. She helped me learn to work more effectively. If she had a bad word to say about anyone - I never heard it. She was a delightful and extremely popular member of the union's staff. We were all happy for her when she was able to retire and return to her family in Ireland.

I have some photographs of her taken during her time with the union and if any of you would like to have copies I'll forward them if I have an e-mail address to send them to. I'll also send a copy of the tribute I have circulated to other retired officials of our union.

I'm delighted that Marie was able to spend her retirement years with her family. She was a lovely person, supremely professional and elegant. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and may she rest in peace.

Memories of this lovely vivacious stylish lady who I had the pleasure of working with in our MSF years. May her family find peace in the strength of the priceless memories Marie has left behind.

My sincere sympathy to the family. We both worked for MSF in the 90s until Marie’s retirement and remained in touch afterwards. She was a very good friend to me and I learned a lot from her when I first started at the union. All Marie’s colleagues will forever affectionately remember her as a lovely vibrant and always so wonderfully glamorous woman.

I was sad to hear of Marie’s passing. She sat beside me at Art and did brilliant work , she was extremely talented, and so glamorous and beautiful.
We missed her very much when she left for Kilkenny.

I am so sorry to hear of my Aunt Marie's passing. Such a beautiful lady, she was such a great character and I'll always remember her for being so glam. I took inspiration from her as a child and went on to become a Beautician and makeup artist. I'm also so glad she got to come to my wedding back in 2018 so I got to know her a bit better.
