We’ve had the pleasure of knowing Marie for a considerable number of years and it was always a joy to meet her. Her sense of fun was infectious, she was an absolute legend who will be sorely missed but very fondly remembered by anyone who was lucky enough to have known her. Rest in Peace Marie!

Our grandmothers were sisters but growing up in Church St you were a Big Sister to myself and my late sister Anne. I have great memories of long summer holidays in Gyles Quay with the Kierans,
McCormicks, Mackins & Byrons.
Later in life it was Carlingford, Barbeques on the East Pier, PJ’s Bar and the Sailing Club ,with so many mutual friends.
Nor can we forget our New Years Day parties over the many years.
Rest easy Marie in your eternal place, a life long lived, your work is done !

I was deeply saddened to hear of Marie's passing. She was such a wonderful lady, and I will always treasure the memories of her time at Dundalk Sailing Club and her amazing cooking. Her homemade kievs were unbeatable—truly a special treat. She was always so glamorous, full of grace and warmth. My heartfelt condolences go out to Pat, Ted, Michael, and the extended family.
