Our hearts are broken for you all at the loss of your lovely Mammy Marie, a heart of gold and an absolute lady. We heard so many wonderful stories of Mam and Eileen (as she called her over the years), growing up in mourne road together, sitting side by side in class, all the dance halls and fun times as teenagers, and later with their kids and grandkids as pals, a friendship that stood the test of time, we hope you get the most beautiful welcome to heaven Marie and we know you're both dancing, singing and watching over everyone from up above. All our love and thoughts are with you all, may you rest in everlasting peace Marie.

John and family so sorry to hear of the passing of Marie. Such a lovely lady . I have many memories of Marie meeting with John after work and having a few in dohney n nesbits pub and all the cups of tea in the kitchen over the years. My deepest sympathy to you all, may Marie rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Marie's passing. She contacted me when my sister Carmel died in May of this year. Our family lived a few doors from her on Mourne Road. I knew her as Eileen and she called me Letty. Carmel and Hughie talked about her all the time. So sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
